okay you see, because we are going into sentosa earlier to book and chop place and whatever, we cannot meet you all at the entrance of sentosa or harbourfront mrt station. so you all can meet among yourselves if you want to and come into sentosa as a big group then come to sentosa siloso beach itself and LET THE CLASS GATHERING BEGIN :D

an extra set of clothes
$2 for entrance fee ( and extra $5 to do anything else like playing volleyball or kayaking or whatever else )

okay updates about the class gathering !
some details have been changed, so do take note.
umm we'll ask everyone by THIS FRIDAY and we would want your reply LATEST by monday, 5 september. please co-operate yeah ?

10 september, 9-5, sentosa.
time has been changed.
umm lunch will be prepared by US so all you people have to do is just to pay.
you have to bring :
$2 for entrance fee
$5 to pay for all the stuff we're doing on siloso beach
max. $5 for lunch
extra set of clothes

umm yeah that shld be all. if you guys want to stay in sentosa later to have dinner in your own little cliques and stuff, thats up to you yep. just make sure your parents dont come running after us when you return home late, because we would end at 5. and WE the nice people are going down at like 8 to reach sentosa okay. and we're leaving later to help clean up. i tell you if this turns out to be a great success you better thank us. but if it fails, CHOI CHOI CHOI CHOI CHOI CHOI, you cant blame us, because at least we helped organised it. HAHAHA.

please try your best to make it, its once in a YEAR. after 2 ~~failed~~ attempts. so yeah, please please please please please please co-operate with us to make this a success. its been really frustrating for us because everytime something is settled, someone would always come and tell us," i dont want to go to the class gathering. go for what ? waste of time." that is really hurting. i mean, we've put in a lot a lot of effort to get this going. all we're needing now is your co-operation. if you really really cant make it, then at least tell us in the nicest possible way alright ? hopefully everyone will be able to go, its a class gathering !

hello people (: im here because no one is helping to plan the gathering ! shoot. oh wells. i shall be extremely nice though. : D
okay firstly. few details are CONFIRMED. if you really have something on.. well. :/ do try your best though, its only once a year.

place : SENTOSA. [relax i'll talk more about this.]
time : 8am to 8pm [can leave early, or if smth on can come later.]

the date is NOT confirmed, as many people cannot make it on the 3.8.05 which is next saturday if im not mistaken.
umm st nicks has open house :/ and i think others has cca ? BUT saturday is the day when most people are free right ? so yeah. if its not this date, then it'll be the next saturday, which is 10.8 i think. i always get dates wrong, so maybe its wrong BUT the day is saturday. haha if im confusing you, sorry (:
yeah and okay.

DETAILS ABOUT SENTOSA.
i know many of you want this right. im so nice okay, i went to check the sentosa website and im posting it here for your convenience ! : D
okay. transport there will be SIMPLE : those taking public transport, take mrt to harbourfront. then walk to the bus interchange, and there will be a bus to sentosa. if you want we could all meet there and go together. saves trouble cause if we dont meet then some of us will be standing at sentosa looking like idiots, hahaha. (:
umm. then we could go to siloso beach, then each person just pay $5 and we could PLAY. like literally PLAY. and for lunch i guess we could all go somewhere. just sit and eat and talk. (: how sweet, hahaha. then maybe we could go walk all over sentosa or smth. its big, make full use of it

ATTENTION !

CLASS GATHERING
it's the 8th already.. still no class gathering! :/ i don't know if you people are still keen, but i sure am (: i so agree with jessling about the parents and family getting irritated, so i suggest, we just go somewhere. book some chalet or something :D but that would also mean extra costs (: unless we can get teachers to sponsor or something.. okay kidding. :D because that wouldn't be nice. but haha. i'm sure a little more for a class gathering wouldn't matter? we could have pot luck [meaning each person brings something] or just cater food.. or even a barbecue. but of course, each have their pros and cons. let's list them out then you people choose okay :D [even though date, time, place are still of top priority]

a) pot luck
good point: no chance for you to say UNFAIR. because everyone's going to contribute. no free-loaders i hope (: haha, and there should be people who'd bring drinks and cutlery and all the other miscellaneous(if i spelt it correctly) stuff.
another good point: we'd have quite a variety IF everyone brings different kinds of foods. with proper planning and coordination, i know this is possible (:
bad point: if everyone makes enough for say about 45 people (including teachers, right? .. and big eaters :p), there'd be extra food! even if we were to donate them to tsunami victims, the food would have turned bad by then! so no wastage allowed (:
another bad point: people bringing food of the same kind. DIE. but this is IF only, hopefully not :D

b) cater food
good point: easy peasy. money does it :D
another good point: just order order order, no hassle (:
bad point: too expensive if we can't find the right caterer... leading to .. BROKE.
another bad point: IF no one has contacts, we can't even find ONE caterer.. which may lead to.. GASP, no food :(

*but if we do pizza delivery, canadian or pizza hut.. or whatever else, we know we have the contacts (: and we can estimate the price, though there'd be a very limited range of food.

c) barbecue
good point: FUN, no? YES FUN :D
bad point: if for some reason we don't know how to start the fire, or cook properly, it'd be disastrous. no point!

as for the date , time and place.. hmm. date and time we'd choose the most suitable, because it's almost impossible to suit everyone's busy schedule, with all your holidays lined up. so please email either cassandra(chainreaction_@hotmail.com) or i (ng_penelope@hotmail.com) your most preferred time and date, along with your holiday schedule which should include when you are going for holiday and when you're coming back :D place, well.. chalet can? must vote again. okay why not you attach your votes to the email too? what we've discussed the other time is still on okay.. erm bring a present along.. MUST BRING. we'd write names on different pieces of paper and you could exchange gifts [though because it was around christmas that time, we wanted it something like a christmas party cum class gathering)

hi.jess ling here.im having band prac on tues and thurs and im having band camp on somedays(forgot the day).IN MY POINT OF VIEW, i do not think that we should hold it at someone's house.wad if u disturb the person's family huh?of course the family will say "oh,it okay..." but are u sure its really okay?the person's family couldn't possibly say "no,u will disturb my family' when u ask them,and reject u rite?but i somehow agree with yuhui that we shouldn't like spend money on like buffet or chalet and on bowling centres as bowling centres won't allow it too.actually i know some great places.like: a steamboat cum bbq shop at marina bay.i've been there before and transport there is easy,the price is resonable, there are alot of choices of food and there is a bowling alley nearby and an open space to play kites too.hope u guys will consider things.all this is only MY suggestions and point of view.bye.

miss sixfaithians. hurry up organise the class gathering or we shall all forgot each other. i'm free on tuesdays, thursdays, saturdays and sundays. not much. haha. but got training*murderous look*

i think we should hold it on a saturday night at someone's else's house then we can camp overnight if we want... lynn's house!!!((: haha. i think we shouldn't like spend money on like buffet or chalet if you are thinking of coz some people may suddenly not turn up and you can't collect the money. we should maybe just organise a class gathering at some bowling center or something((: try not to even spend any money such that money has to be collected. maybe one of us knows a person who opens a chalet and can ask for a free one((: haha, that would be almost impossibe:/

ok lynn cant make it on 1203 as she has camp. yuhui and some other people cant make it too right? ok. lynn suggests having it at her house on 1603 wednesday. maybe thats a better idea because firstly, she's available the whole day. which means we can go at like 3 or 4 plus, prepare the bbq food and have it ready by 5. secondly, i think more people will be able to make it cause we're starting earlier and maybe end earlier. everyone should be more happy right? if you so happen to have like training on that day, go for your training first then come. is that better? PLEASE BLOG OR TAG TO SAY IF YOU PREFER THIS IDEA OR YOU STILL WANT IT ON 1203. this is very very important so give your opinions please. and as penelope said, BRING ALONG A PRESENT. we'll draw lots that day and that present will be given to whoever's name you draw. you can also tell me personally which do you prefer. by wednesday i'll come and CONFIRM the day and time. so hurry tell me. tell me also if you cant make it on BOTH DAYS. thanks.

ok. im here because of the class gathering. so far i know at least five people who want to change either day or time of the class gathering. well

for jessling and eunice, the first thing is that must see whose house we're going, and what time that person will be home. so if for example lynn is only going to be home at 6 plus, then if you still want to go early then you can go at 6 plus. ok?

for enru, if more than 10 people say they cant make it on 12/3, then we'll change the day ok?

i really hope you all can make it. we've compromised a little already, i hope you guys will try and compromise also. its realy not easy planning a class gathering. because if we try and accomodate everyone's timetable, its pratically impossible to plan something like this. im not pointing fingers or anything, so please dont flare up when you read this. im just saying this in general. so please please please try to accomodate, if really cant make it then tell me or penelope. you can call me, sms me or talk to me personally if you have a huge gigantic problem, k? cause i really hope all of you can turn up for this, and please dont fight amongst one another just because of this ok?

okay hey people. today is the 3 of march. THINGS NEED TO GET GOING LAH. (: so here are the results.

on 28 february, the votes were tallied at 16 people voted. all of which voted for option number two.

meet on 11th march, friday at someone's house ( please volunteer you house if possible ! or try to find someone, we'd try too ) at about 8 plus 9 PM !! we'd have something like a barbecue .. and we'd end at about midnight. you could choose to leave earlier though. and if you want, we can choose SOMEONE'S house to sleepover (: there you have it, 2 day class gathering BEAT THAT. ha.

but changes have been made to suit the needs of certain people. compromise man, compromise. so here are the finalised plans. not exactly finalised. but yeah.

day/date : friday, 11th march
venue : to be confirmed, have to contact lynn first
time: 7.15 pm
dress code : casual (: don't wear JEANS LAH, you'd die of heat stroke man.
what to bring : all that you have to bring, and SOME MONEY, because we'd have to split the cost for the barbecue food .. oh and PLEASE buy a present. not too expensive though. just get SOMETHING. on that day we'd draw lots and see who you're giving to. REMEMBER AH.

IF you happen, by any chance, to STILL be, for some reason, UNHAPPY about plans, call me, sms me, contact me through email or sms. okay ? OR TAG and blog. please spread the message. i promise i'd inform you of the venue by the end of this week.

Alrighty..Thanks Lynn for offering your house! i want to see your puppie. :D I also suggest going to Sandra's house...it is quite big I think...bungalow...and it is supposedly quite big...there's a room which has no windows (so it's very very dark) where we can watch movies...and I haven't yet been to her house, so I really want to go there. So being big, it should fit the whole 6 faith..It has 3 storeys I think? And the top floor is empty...so we can go up there and do whatever we want. :) However I haven't asked her opinion...it should be ok I think, her parents should allow us to go there for the gathering. But just to be safe, it is NOT confirmed. And I dunno whether she has a barbecue pit or anything there. But I still think her house is quite a good choice for the gathering. :)Or Lynn's house could do too..xD~elemmire~

okay HELLO EVERYONE. penelope here. currently discussing the class gathering with cassandra over msn, so here are the details. PLEASE blog, tag or sign the guestbook, or contact cassandra or myself if you have any objections, suggestions and what not.

you have TWO OPTIONS : please vote (: if not all 38 of us vote, we'd just take the majority of the number of people who voted. SO PLEASE direct 6 faith people to this blog okay.

option one :
meet on 12th march, saturday at school macdonalds ( the one opposite school if you're unaware. outside mayflower gardens ) at 11.30 am. we'd be eating lunch at mac donalds then we're going out. erm, venue to be confirmed. this would end at about 5 plus 6. okay ?

* for people who live really far and it's rather inconvenient to come all the way down to ang mo kio, PLEASE inform either cassandra or me via sms or blogging okay. or in school even.

* lydia and eunice : aware that you may not be able to make it since you have dance or something. you could either meet us at a later time, or vote for the other option okay ?

option two :

but if we're going for a MOVIE on the gathering day, the movie must take at least 2 1/2 hrs...so like not really got time..as I have piano and swimming...how bout 10am?
